❤️ MELIA is looking for a home after her training. A home with no small kids. Teenagers are fine. If you have a dog, you can do a meet & greet with Melia. She's at K9 Rehab in Watertown, Connecticut.
Contact @pawspathtofurever.bsky.social if you have any questions. Thank you ❤️

I just checked your book out from my library. Very happy for you, but selfishly more happy for me to read it.

Butterscotch. My MIL makes scotcharoo cookies that are universally adored by everyone else. I think butterscotch tastes like plastic warmed on a hot radiator

In sharing this, I am totally agreeing with you - most people don't learn these bits of social skills. More times than not, I've been barrelled into trying to exit an elevator by kids storming the freaking castle and fighting to press the stupid buttons before I can actually exit

I vividly remember when I was a small child and super-excited to push the button on the elevator & being literally grabbed by the collar by my mother and held back before I could charge in so that people could exit, and her explaining that we wait to let them off, before going in

It's a shame everyone is talking about stochastic terrorism now. I used to love the book fairs they did at our school.

I frequently spent lunch in the bathroom, because the library was “off limits” at lunch. The lunchroom monitors wouldn’t let anyone sit alone, and forced loner kids into tables filled with normies who loved to torture a freak. Headphones & a book were a tonic to the soul

After being held in two of them as a boy, I fought for decades urging America to never again build concentration camps and put human beings in them. It breaks my heart to watch this happen twice now in my own lifetime.

Your Cherokee words for today.
The top word is English followed by how it is written in the Cherokee language followed by how it is spelled in English then how to pronounce it phonetically.

APA only has a handful of dogs left that need to go to unicorn homes that don't have other pets or children. If that describes yours and you want to help keep a dog warm for the weekend, please reach out to them at matchmaker@austinpetsalive.org. They also have cats with medical needs.
