Only 14 hours until the political ads stop. Then we get to look forward to at least another 30 days of increased Medicare DisAdvantage ads courtesy of George Bush. Contrary to the ads, Medicare Advantage is NOT Medicare #MedicareForAll #GetRidOfMedicareDisAdvantage

Sometime around late September people began talking about it. It has only grown since then.

This month Blackout the System began to take hold.

A national call to boycott Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Hey Jack Citarelli, it's not green initiatives that are driving up electric prices; it's AI's excessive demand for power, with no oversight on rates for them and homeowners. Stop with the lies.

Also, it would be really sad if people started downloading network episodes of the shows they watch. It would be sad because the networks would lose viewership. But ultimately, when the Democrats are in control, we need to change the law so we don't have to pay for channels that support fascism.

I really need a few good New Yorkers to primary @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social , @schumer.senate.gov , and @tomsuozzi.bsky.social (among others). @aoc.bsky.social would make a great Senator. Same for @bradlander.bsky.social I can hope, right?

Do we have to pay tariffs on Canadian wild fire smoke? I'm shocked the Orange Turd has not mentioned this.

As someone who’s been a Democrat for only six weeks, I think this is such an important point. We’re either a big tent, or we aren’t. And if we are a big tent, that means progressives unite around a moderate nominee, and moderates unite around a progressive nominee. Period.👇

So I am trying to update a Garmin device for my father-in-law, who doesn't like change, e.g., a GPS on his phone. After purchasing a map update, I came to find out it is too big for the device. I wasn't told it was too big, nor that there are no refunds, no matter the situation.

Seriously, we shouldn't move on until we have a full explanation for these posts.

Seems important...

I don't know what planet @tomsuozzi.bsky.social is on, but it ain't Earth. He's OK with 75% of the bill? Which part? The increase in funds for the ICE goons? Or the the carve outs for all the Republicans to pass this crap? Hes a politician doing what politicians think they need 2 do 2 get reelected.
Suozzi: "It just doesn't make sense that you're reducing taxes for some of the wealthiest people, hurting some of the lowest income people, while blowing the biggest deficit in the budget that we've had in the history of the country. Those things just don't add up."

Call me crazy, but I don't think it's ethical for SSA to send this email out. They should not have opinions on any legislation and should just administer the program.

What he said!
My statement on Donald Trump's threat to deport me and his praise for Eric Adams, who the President "helped out" of legal accountability.

So, what happens when the Orange Turd decides there are no more elections because of some made-up "emergency"? I hope the blue states are making plans to hold the elections no matter what. I never thought I would be favoring the blue states banding together as their own new, normal country.

Are there any Supreme Court experts out there who know what happens to mail you send to them letting them know how much you disdain them and their rulings? I assume the Justices don't read it, but is it logged in some official system? Are they summarized into reports for the Justices?

Although I send @tomsuozzi.bsky.social my views on politics and issues, I never get a response that really says what he thinks. Yes, this is a good primary list.
New York Democratic officials who've declined to endorse Zohran Mamdani so far:
- Gov. Kathy Hochul
- Sen. Chuck Schumer
- Rep. Hakeem Jeffries
- Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand
- Rep. Laura Gillen
- Rep. Tom Suozzi
- Rep. Dan Goldman
- Rep. George Latimer

Some tech person could setup an automated system to record and post the wait times. Which then could be replicated to different areas of the country.

When I canceled Prime, they asked why. I said "Bezos sucks" as the reason.
OK, Jeff, now let's imagine the impact of having billionaires pay the same tax rate as everyone else.
Wow, sounds like Jeff Bezos is mad

(from A Washington Post editorial entitled "Zohran Mamdani’s victory is bad for New York and the Democratic Party")

I am sure Brad Lander could take her out in a primary. @kirstengillibrand.bsky.social @bradlander.bsky.social @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social
🚨 🚨 🚨 @kirstengillibrand.bsky.social just implied on the Brian Lehrer show that Zohran Mamdani is affiliated with Hamas and/or promotes violent jihad!

☎️ ☎️ Call her office right now to decry this unprecedented intraparty attack on the duly elected Democratic candidate for Mayor of NYC!

@aoc.bsky.social would run rings around him. And rightfully so. @schumer.senate.gov
"If I were Senator Schumer, I’d be very concerned about his chances in 2028 because it sure looks as though Rep. AOC has all the momentum. I don’t see this trajectory changing if Mr. Schumer remains incapable of grasping its contours — or unwilling to."

If I were a betting man, I would most assuredly say he will go back to where he actually lives after he loses both the primary and general election.
driving a few blocks should instantly disqualify you from being mayor of this city
In Midtown, where one of Andrew Cuomo's staffers is holding a parking spot for him in front of the polling site he's soon expected to vote at.

Cuomo is registered to vote a few blocks from here, but still driving over.

Hey @ConEd, since it's your doing that you lowered the voltage and I am not able to generate solar power, will I be getting a credit for the amount I am using from the grid? #ConEd #FirstTimeTheyExperiencedA90DegreeDay #NotPrepared

So, ConEd in NYC is repairing equipment on the first day of the year. You would think they would have done repairs before the heat wave. However, if it saves them money, they think it's worth waiting.
