Crocked by long-covid; neurodiverse; fan of various football teams that play in red, and one in blue & yellow #Hashtag. (Strictly armchair!)
I miss being able to go to the theatre.

Oversimplification in public discourse is a widespread issue that hinders nuanced understanding. Politicians and the media often reduce complex issues to soundbites, creating misleading narratives that fail to capture the depth of the problems we face. This can distort public perception. (1/7)
#ASKWXM Are Bobby Madley's reactions to Birmingham players dropping as though severely injured an overcompensation for his previous intolerance of disability?

#ASKWXM Irrelevant highlights so far: "Coventry - not the conurbation", and a child's lip-readable, "F^%£ off ya p^%£k!" at a Charlton player at a throw-in! 🤣

#ASKWXM Why is the referee allowed to wear kit that matches the lower half of our black kit?
(Apologies if this has been adked before.)

@fidpod.bsky.social Saw a story on Facebook about Barry Bannan joining Wrexham. Obviously fake, as he'd just need to go through official PFA channels to get details of who did Will Boyle's hair transplant! 🤣

#ASKWXM Is there greater advantage cutting through a low block from inside compared to hitting the byline?

#ASKWXM Webster's red is reminiscent of Boyle's lat season (?), except Boyle got the ball. Nailed-on decision.

Long-covid is a swine. I've had no energy, and even less joy. Today's little victory was feeling well enough to heat up a meal in the microwave. While I was doing this, Fletcher scored for @wrexhamafc.co.uk.

I'm calling that two BIG victories for the day!

#ASKWXM Bringing on 3 subs changes the dynamic, but when it's quality like Mullin, Lee, and Fletcher do our defenders get nervy, complacent, or just unsettled by whatever changes in pace or pressure that result?

#ASKWXM Is the Sooty-presenter-like ref quite Butch?
If he doesn't make a clean Sweep of foul play, the club should Soo!

#ASKWXM Looks like Okonkwo should've done better with the first, tried to catch the second instead of parrying it, then tried to be heroic with the marginal ball that Scarr headed to overcompensate and nearly got caught out again.

Needs to put it out of his mind a reset. Easier said, though.

PCT in practice.
Mental health difficulties often stem from conflicts between expected or promised outcomes and reality. Some conditions arise from life events, while others are unrelated to external causes—but both can benefit from understanding and modifying internal control systems. (1/10)

@fidpod.bsky.social Are Wrexham goalkeepers braver, opposition players more reckless, are there issues with training routines, or is it just coincidence that our stoppers seem more injury prone than most?

The erosion of epistemology in public discourse, often driven by ideological extremes, makes nuanced thinking challenging. Oversimplification results in an intellectual divide, where truth itself is contested, and the need for critical, evidence-based approaches is more pressing than ever. (1/6)

In relation to chronic fatigue syndromes like M.E. and long-covid, the descriptive power of the phrase "microscopically maimed" struck me and now I can't shake it off - just like my symptoms! 🤣
