It's strange that Monbiot takes issue with the conclusion that British folks will have to eat less and transition to diets that require less meat, given the fact that anthropogenic climate change is largely driven by unsustainable lifestyles in the First World, a main part of which are their diets

Some followers may be curious about my Muslim status given my adherence to anarchism, communism, and especially feminism, and my answer to that is that I'm Muslim in a similar way that many Jewish people are Jewish—I am culturally Muslim but basically agnostic on God

Seeing the reactions to Trump and I can't help but observe that a lot of us are in a bad habit of misidentifying basic liberalism as fascism. Stuff like laws that imprison the homeless/"vagrants", citizenship and nationality laws, "ecofascism", etc.

It's reasonable if you apply it consistently to every other settler colonist state incl. US, Australia, UK, Canada, Mexico, etc. Israel is not alone in being an occupier and committing genocidal crimes, and citizens of all other settler colonist states should also be shunned
