Mike Lee has the land sale provision back in the budget reconciliation bill, this time 1 Million+ acres of Western BLM land on the block, any land that is within 5 miles of a population center. Once again, purposely rushed and ill defined. This provision must be defeated. Please call your Senators.

The Republican budget bill that might get voted on as early as Friday morning had threatened to sell off 77 million acres of Alaskan land held by the Forest Service and BLM, without oversight or a chance to object.

Saguaro, March 2024. This one is in the park. Any that are on BLM land, which is a lot, could still be cut and bulldozed over for solar panels, mining, and mansions under the budget bill currently being decided. Call your reps! #publiclands

One of the smartest decisions the “No Kings” organizers made was not staging a counter-protest of Trump’s parade in DC. He wanted that confrontation.

Instead, millions gathered around the country while Trump’s parade fell far short of attendance goals. It made Trump look small.

@nytimes.com @cnn.com @npr.org write this story. This should be the biggest headline - it’s The ONLY story. The Trump takeover of Gaza is just a distraction.
While Trump has been distracting America with everything else, Elon Musk’s staffers are quietly taking over NOAA and the Department of Labor. They are also using AI to help rewrite a significant portion of the federal government’s computer systems.
