I shared cúpla focal with my niece recently.
Now she thinks the whole family speaks Gaeilge 💀

It is shameful that RAINN, representing sexually abused people, erased trans people because they are scared of Trump.
To any org censoring themselves: you cannot jettison trans to save yourself. Yes, if you don't, other groups may suffer, and you might too.

Wait, Bluesky's translation feature actually works on Irish? Well, it directs you to Google Translate which (mostly) works for Irish.
Still better than Meta, which shows you the "translate" button on Irish posts but when you click it, it doesn't do anything.
It just... gives up.
