I don’t want to make assumptions about chronically ill people but sometimes when I see someone who is constantly advocating for themselves and other chronically ill people, but don’t mask? It’s very confusing and honestly sad to me idk

I’ve never seen LA influencers mobilize for a cause more than this tbh. Not to say it isn’t a tragedy or horrific for those affected, but the selective empathy and care has been REALLY blatant in the last 48h.

always feel like I’m shouting into the void whenever I draw connections between Covid & things like “I’m sick all the time and idk why,” “everyone’s dying so much earlier,” “he was so healthy but had a stroke” it literally feels like I’m living in an alternate universe where a pandemic doesn’t exist
