Think about this from the perspective of the musicians who create the music & who the monopoly power of the major labels renders relatively powerless. You will be furious.

The Dems who are caving are doing so not because their base wants them to,

not because the voters want them to,

not because the fed workers and SNAP recipients want them to…

they are caving because their DONORS want them to.

And that’s really all that ever matters to the corrupt

Nobody in the Cave Caucus is up for re-election in 2026, so that’s why they probably volunteered to fall on the sword. They all should be primaried in due time, but I think it’s the time for movements to rise to protect vulnerable people. Which is damn near everyone that’s not a multi-millionaire.
remember every Democrat should be assumed to be in support of this unless they break Senate omertà and start opposing colleagues in primaries

Trump is 30 points underwater. Dems swept the special elections. People know the GOP is responsible for the shutdown. So the Dem Senators pulled out their big guns... and shot themselves in the foot.

As many have pointed out, Mamdani didn't stand apart from our trans brothers and sisters. He didn't play the "Gee, gosh, it sure is complicated," milquetoast moderate card. And he crushed.

The way forward is together, not over the bodies of our own.

Good night for progressive politicians. Celebrate! Keep it going. Don’t put all your eggs in the 2026 election cycle; keep pressure on ALL elected officials now, and throughout the year, and keep organizing in your community. The work continues!
BREAKING: Mamdani capped his campaign for NYC mayor with a historic win, defeating Cuomo in a contest closely watched by national Dems, Republicans and the White House.

Manning is a homophobe that endorsed Trump in his 2016 campaign & withdrew his support because Trump wasn’t anti-LGTBQIA+ enough.

He launched his write in campaign Oct 10. It doesn’t seem to be going very well, but I assume the intention is to try to pull away Mamdani votes.

if there was a rich person with the will, you could build the most incredible news organization that has ever existed just from the wreckage of this year alone.
I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.
