PIDG is a satirical strategy game about modern economics. The Biscuit is PIDG’s in world newspaper.

I agree with this. It’s why I immortalized the whole thing as a dice rolling strategy game called PIDG. Pidggame.com
ppl are talking about the doge shutdown as tho it means something positive.

it was a smash and grab. a successful one.

I’ve been building in silence for a very long time. My speaking voice is a bit creaky, but gosh it’s fun to be back in the mix. “Hello.” 👋

PIDG is heading out into the wild today. It’s a strange feeling to send it out after a year alone with the work. #boardgames #gamedesigner #indiecreator

In PIDG you start with a day job, add a side hustle, try to save for a business and hope you don’t burn out. It’s rigged. Let’s play! pidggame.com/kickstarter #boardgames #billionairegames

You know that feeling when you wake up and see that president of the United States has launched a meme coin? And then you kind of freak out about the economy? I made a board game about that. Check it out at pidggame.com/kickstarter #boardgames #trumpcoin

It’s been 9 months since the idea for PIDG infected me. In that time I built a game with mechanics that mirror real economics. I’ve sat alone in my office struggling with balance, and art, and meaning. Now I have to open the office door and share it with the world. Not an easy transition!

I didn’t intend to make a board game. It isn’t my usual medium. But the story of a meme that became a coin that became a national agency really seemed to want to be a dice rolling strategy game. So I made it one.

"Game designers will routinely fail at making something fun. When the game of making games is played right, it is always right outside the edge of what the designers know how to do."

Incredible quote from an amazing article. Something I'm only beginning to understand 10+ years in to designing.

What started as a way for me to work out my angst about the current system, evolved into an entire game. It was the most creatively intense thing I’ve ever done.

PIDG started as a joke. A catharsis. A way to externalize and visualize the system I felt trapped in.

I've spent the last year working on this board game about late-stage capitalism, and I can finally show it.
It's called PIDG: Predictive Intelligence & Data Governance. It's a dark, funny strategy board game about meme coins, economic absurdity, and political theater.
