My grandmother passed yesterday under the light of a full moon 🌕 , a symbol of completion and closure that feels deeply fitting. She achieved her remarkable goal of living to 100 years old, a testament to her incredible strength, intelligence, and determination.

Show up

Breathe mindfully

Resist enemyship

Say a kind word to a stranger

Play with cats

Cook a healthy meal

Listen to a record all the way through

Go for a mindful walk in the snow

Laugh with friends

Not be “productive”

Thinking about this moment under a giant tree last fall. The world feels so heavy lately—stress, disasters, and all the noise.

It reminds me to pause and ground myself, even briefly, in something steady.

Pause.
