We do a great disservice to the meaning of words when we assume violence is limited to the throwing of a punch or the firing of a weapon.
Violence is also doing everything you can to harm a group of people in as many ways as you can only to then stereotype them as “angry”.

If you looked at Charlie Kirk and thought he was “just controversial,” or if you felt the urge to mourn him without also reckoning with the violence he encouraged, then I need you to hear this: you cannot call yourself neutral. Neutrality in the face of racism, misogyny, and bigotry is complicity.
