Trump is using campus protest as a gateway to prohibit all protest in the long run. This is a long game to dismantle First Amendment protections. I hope that's obvious to everyone.

Susie Wiles: This is not a First Amendment issue.

Also Susie Wiles: The government should “review” the AP Stylebook for “potential abuses.”
As part of its filings & request for temporary restraining order against the White House tomorrow, attorneys for Associated Press have submitted to the court a copy of the letter written to the AP by White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles

Letter: "This is purely a privilege of access issue"

Texas just deputized 300 National Guard troops for immigration arrests—sidestepping Posse Comitatus and blurring the line between military and law enforcement. This isn’t about security. We should all be concerned because once this starts, it won’t stop.

Finishing the Vietnam doc, rewatching the final hours in Saigon, I was once again reminded of August 2021. We promised our Afghan allies we wouldn’t leave them behind, yet families remain separated and allies are still in danger. We must reunite them and ensure their safe resettlement in the U.S.

Just finished the first episode and HIGHLY recommend. Also speaks to the absolute importance of community, and transition and mental health support for all veterans.
