I was wondering why Coreen and Larry were looking at me askance - I wasn’t trying to pull a fast one, just scatter brained.
I can make up the difference however you like.

Hey @bikeedmonton.bsky.social Yesterday I went in for a workshop appointment for 1:30, and clocked out at 4. But when up at the till, I counted that as 1&1/2 hours.
I owe you an hour of shop rate, and I think I missed a brake lever from the parts bin on my bill also.

Today I paid tribute to someone who was a friend & inspiration to many of us, Darren Markland.

One of the best humans I’ve ever known.

In the shadow of the challenges our world faces today, we need more people like Darren.

Perhaps the best tribute we can pay is to be more like him. #abpoli

Do I suport Allison Jackson or Ef-Education Oatley?
I can't support both, can I?

I would suggest asking
@michaeljanz.bsky.social
A fitting memorial and tribute to our famed ICU doctor, Darren Markland, would be if they could name the new mountain bike riding park in Queen Elizabeth Park after him. Who makes that decision? @yegbike.bsky.social @naheednenshi.bsky.social @abdanielsmith.bsky.social
RIP Darren

On this day of reflection on the untimely passing of Dr Darren Markland, what could be a lasting legacy. I believe naming the now under construction mountain bike park at Queen Elizabeth Park in his honour would be a good start. #yeg #mountainbike

Dr. Darren Markland was the best of us. Physician, cyclist, advocate, citizen, friend.

We will never forget his powerful legacy of compassion, service, and love.

All Albertans are holding his family and friends close and we all commit to living his values and making this province a better place.

Do any of the #yycbike crowd know about the bike share available in Calgary? I know Bird is there, are any other services better? We’re staying in Kengsington/Sunnyside area, maybe biking out to Power In Motion and/or Decathlon.

Okay Railway nerds - It seems that in Western Canada, one engine can pull 73 cars. Mixed. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Food culture and newer Canadians able to make their own cuisines more publicly is a great benefit to Western Canada.
Imagine stopping on an old-school prairie town main street like in Battleford - and find deluxe Asian cuisine!
This is the Cafe 4U!

Oh dear, Mastadon isn’t working for me right now. Anyway, #yegbike commute is just ideal conditions all the way around. Perfectly pleasant temperature of +11°C with the lightest of southwest winds. Skies are clearing through early morning fog in the river valley. Traffic light, paths mostly empty.

Does anyone in #yeg know about the massive lineup at Pizza 73? This was at the 96thStreet and Alberta Avenue Location.
My neighbourhood is having a by-election, and when there was some lineup at my polling station (that I'm headed for right now), nothing like the Albert Avenue Pizza 73.

The spreading of the cancellation of the Fancy Women's Bike Ride was me not realizing that Winnipeg has a similar event on the same day.
It's Winnipeg that has cancelled their ride, NOT the #yegbike one.
I am a big mansplaining silly.

Hey folks! The Fancy Women Bike Ride has been cancelled today due to the risk of Thunderstorms at the same time as our ride. Rain or shine, we ride, but thunderstorms aren't fancy at all! @emmaewood.bsky.social

Question for the Hive Mind:
We are setting up for a multi-family garage sale. In these modern times, is a card reader device expected? Would E-transfer work just as well?
Or just plain old cash?
