I draw the line at being told how to think. I guess I'm a radical left lunatic.

Spread democracy at the point of a gun?

Forced democracy is not democracy; it's extortion.

But what should one expect from a wannabe mob boss?
Trump: The job of the U.S. Armed forces is not to host drag shows, to transform foreign cultures, but to spread democracy to everybody around the world at the point of a gun…

Of all of the people put forward to embody the Anti-christ in Revelations, Trump seems to best fill the role, with Mike Johnson guest starring as the False Prophet.

Random thought: What if Joe Biden had kept his word and not pardoned Hunter ... how would we be feeling about that now as we watch Trump pardon every Republican criminal he can find while he'd almost certainly be prosecuting Hunter?

Lots of folks were very critical of that decision.

Assume all the yes and no votes from Dem senators are strategic and not sincere votes. The party caucus made a decision. No way to know how many were in favor. Then the caucus decided who would vote yes and no based on what would protect each of them politically the most. That’s how this works.

Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

Trump is so full of shit that his bullshit is bullshit.
Fox gives Trump a platform during their NFL broadcast to peddle his absurd lies about "prices are coming way down", "we inherited a mess," and "our country has over $17 trillion being invested in it." Absolutely shameful for all involved.

One of the most important provisions of the ACA was eliminating pre-existing conditions exclusions from insurance plans.

Folks need to be reminded that if the ACA goes away, so does that provision.

“Mamdani won only because he campaigned on things that appealed to New York City voters!”

Yes, and? That is how electoral politics works. Why would a politician appealing to voters in the place they’re running for office be a negative?

Newsom: "It's not about rule of law anymore. It's rule of Don. He's choosing which court decisions he agrees with. He's quite literally running an extortion racket. He's doing it with some of the most powerful corporate leaders. What does everything have in common? Tariffs. They're about leverage"

There is nothing in the Constitution that guarantees a right to eat food. So it's hard to understand why the Democrat Party thinks the SNAP issue is a political winner.
