Trump is now openly using the term “remigration” to explain his ICE raid efforts. If you’re not familiar with the far right buzzword, which is tantamount to ethnic cleansing, here’s some background on its origins and originator, Martin Sellner.
Martin Sellner: Switzerland expels Austrian far-right figure – DW – 10/19/2024
Far-right activist Martin Sellner was escorted out of Switzerland after apparently defying the entry ban against him. The Austrian campaigner for "remigration" has already been denied travel to the US...

I’m telling you, that authoritarian bastard -wants- a Kent State situation.

At this point, it'd probably be easier to just have a "fuck you, Fetterman" post that I re-share from time to time, efficiency and all.

If you think this is just about the COVID vaccine, or even the MMR vaccine, you’re not paying attention. RFKjr’s previous comments about there being “no safe vaccine” weren’t limited to COVID/MMR. Now, neither will his policies.

Be clear, people -will- die as a result. (Cue Joni Ernst.)

(🎁)
Opinion | RFK Jr.’s purge is about reducing access to vaccines
He says he wants to restore the public’s “confidence” in vaccines. Don’t fall for it.

An important read (🎁), shared for all the reasons.

This is fascism.
Hitler Used a Bogus Crisis of ‘Public Order’ to Make Himself Dictator
Using disorder he had helped manufacture, the chancellor seized control of Bavaria.

If random, unidentified, masked dudes started "disappearing" white folks from elementary school graduations and Target parking lots, I'm sure Republicans would assume it was a perfectly fine display of "law and order," too. Right?

The same chucklefucks who always claimed to need weapons in case of the “tyranny” of government overreach seem awfully quiet now for some reason.

Meanwhile, here are Timothy Snyder’s “Twenty Lessons From The Twentieth Century,” from his must-read book, On Tyranny.

As an Ohioan who lives in Jim Jordan’s district, I’ve been waiting on this doc.

More than its political implications, I want to recognize the courage of the men who stepped forward to become the faces of this tragedy, including thousands of assaults enabled by people like Jordan.

We ruthlessly (and rightly) mock the "he's playing 4D chess" folks, then turn around and claim the latest brouhaha is "just a distraction."

One of these days, I hope we realize they're the same mediocre-white-man-empowering argument.

The real hero here is me for not texting all of my conservative family members this afternoon to see who they’re going to tell the judge they want to live with.

I hope Zuck, Bezos, and the other billionaire cucks are paying very close attention to this Elon ridiculousness, because -THIS- is the reality of bolstering emotionally unstable authoritarian fools. No one is immune from their intemperate wrath…⤵️

If I were a pregnant person, I’m not sure I’d so much as set foot in a “red” state.

From the article:
“This action sends a clear message: the lives and health of pregnant people are not worth protecting.”

The Democratic notion that we need to “save democracy” -before- we tackle the structural problems in our party seems short-sighted & fear-based.

I’d argue we can’t “save democracy,” such as it is, -until- we fix the structural problems in our party, as those deficits helped to enable this bullshit.

I don't know that I have huge opinions about Garcia, pro or con, but I -do- have enormous opinions about the Democratic need for serious generational change, especially in Congress. We have to quit electing people who keel over a few months later.
