I just got a news item as an email attachment: a PDF of a scan of a photocopy of a printout of an email to another newspaper.

I appreciate Josh's elevation of the term "anti-constitutional," which is different from "unconstitutional." Deciding not to spend appropriations because you don't feel like it isn't some outré theory of the Constitution. It's just an assertion of power, a rejection of constitutionalism altogether.
I'll just repeat what I said yesterday: This is wildly illegal and anti-constitutional.
How could you possibly vote for a funding bill that the Vice President is telling you will be overruled by the executive?

Note to self: If you're designing a broadsheet newspaper on a laptop, do zoom in every now and then and make sure you haven't accidentally redefined your paragraph style to create an entire page worth of calendar listings as all caps.
