Trump’s tariff announcement last week was so big, @chadpbown.com called in @soumayakeynes.ft.com to cohost an emergency episode. They cover history, the dollar, and even the U.S. legal system to clarify what is known about the tariff actions so far.

Cool graph from @ember-energy.org's recent electricity review. Coal is nearing its end in Europe and accounted for less than 10% of total electricity production in 2024. Congrats to PT, BE, AT, SE for completely phasing out coal over the last couple of years!
