Periodic reminder that Trans rights (and LGBTQIA rights, and immigrant rights, and religious/ atheist rights, and HUMAN RIGHTS) are not negotiable. Try to bargain them away to win elections, and we will primary you.
Please, everyone, do not "Blue no matter who" over this. This is not a litmus test, and trans rights are not negotiable.

This is why I still love baseball. Even after all the rule changes... it's still the game that ends on its own terms, no clock to save you, just a final play that will always hinge on a player's triumph or mistake, whether that comes at the top of the 9th or the bottom of the 19th.

This is why I still love baseball. Even after all the rule changes... it's still the game that ends on its own terms, no clock to save you, just a final play that will always hinge on a player's triumph or mistake, whether that comes at the top of the 9th or the bottom of the 19th.
Corporate media are not to be trusted. They were complying in advance even before the election: See, for example, WaPo's canceled endorsement of Kamala. And now, with Colbert's firing (coming the same day as the defunding of CPB) free speech in the United States is IMPERILED.
If you refuse to see what is happening, the cancellation of the Colbert show should open your eyes.

@gavinnewsom.bsky.social , any comment? I'm not applying a litmus test. It's important to remember that trans rights, and LGBTQIA+ rights in general, are not negotiable. If we as Americans cannot come together on this, at least as Democrats we should.
This is correct. Any candidate cynically “triangulating” on trans kids is a non-starter, and now is the time to say so. There’s still so much time to advance candidates that DON’T suck.
I will never, ever vote for Gavin Newsom. Ever, under any circumstances. I don't care if he becomes the Dem nominee, he's still not getting my vote.
