It’s so disheartening (and dangerous!) to have close family refuse to acknowledge the identity of trans and nonbinary people. I don’t know how to approach this when the reasoning is “religious beliefs” as someone who has never been religious.

Omg I’ve been trying to perform in this local poetry show for months & finally got in 🤩 I will be nervous af, but so proud of myself after it’s over. Doing the things that scare me & grateful that I’ll have friends supporting me 💖
