When I wrote my first novel it was easy. The only distraction was real life. Now I'm just starting my third the only distractions are editing the second, writing a novella, and marketing the first! And real life.

Following the drama today as TikTok shop switches their delivery partner from Evri to Royal Mail (in the UK) and thousands of indie authors are suddenly dealing with underpaid postage, fewer drop off points, and dubious customer support. (Do not read this as an Evri endorsement!)

Went live on TikTok last night and discovered that if you point a camera at me, I really can talk without notes for 45 minutes and no breaks.

When you only sell your books through Amazon, the customers can feel abstract. Just numbers on a dashboard.
