OMG!!!! After a totally shitty 2025, and years before not much better, we just found out that our World Cut tickets will be for Scotland vs Morocco!!! My wife Scottish ancestors must have been pulled favors for us. No Scotland Mo Party!!!!

I did not sleep well, woke up sore and with a headache. it is super cold and the moon was up and amazing to look at. But I still drove my ass to work for a job that doesn't give me joy anymore. What is the point of things?

Time to come clean, I hate Christmas. This time of year is too stressful, too demanding, and I have too much mental baggage about the holidays. I Love making my family happy and getting them stuff, but I always feel like I fail. Plus, no one respects that I want NOTHING, and demand lists from me.

How is everyone's holiday shopping going? I am pretty much done with the wife's gifts, and my daughter's BF. the two kids though need to get their items picked up or bought or ordered soon. then we need to know WTF we are doing for Christmas. Plans still up in air with the wife's family

OK, almost time to brave the snow storm and drive home from work. I think we got at most a 1/2 inch here. And it will be melted all away by tomorrow. Still, I am getting in my pj's and under a blanket when I get home.

Oh, and I had a bobcat run across the road in front of me on my drive in. Here is a photo of one, not the one who was jaywalking. A beautiful animal, but I would never want to be on the bad side of a big murder kitty like this.

So, today is our first snow storm of the season. The schools are closed and many people called out from work. I am here, since it is only supposed to be 1-3" of snow. Plus I have lived in Buffalo and Maine and we can handle snow.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving here in the US. I made some chocolate peanut butter bars to bring for a desert. Tonight/tomorrow we will make creamed onions, and green beans with bacon as two side dishes. Then off to the in-laws to hang out for the day. I plan on eating all the calories.

When I was young we would go to NJ to spend Thanksgiving with my father's side of the family. Not a bad time, but it was always kind of gross coming back and getting to New England and seeing all the trucks with their deers tied to them from the first day of hunting season.

For the next few days I will be counting how many cars have their Christmas tree on it. I have not spotted any yet, but I swear some people would make a person leave their own Thanksgiving celebration so they could go get their tree up.

So Cheeto and the MAGA'diots are calling for charges of treason and execution for any current or former military member who would speak out against unlawful orders. Um, can they also include execution of people who lied 3 times about bone spurs to get out of serving during a war?
