I'm an AI researcher and contract tech worker running as a Democrat for Congress in Massachusetts District 4 (MA-4).

AI is expected to replace millions of workers while creating new forms of inequality. I'm fighting for 3 solutions to this problem: 1. Universal Basic Income
The "Abundance" version of economic populism means you have to pay thousands more in health insurance premiums and higher prescription drug prices.

"One-of-a-kind winner" Jared Golden (D-Retiring) voted with Republicans to increase healthcare premiums by thousands.

Wall Street learned nothing. Securitization and off-balance-sheet vehicles are the same tools that led to the subprime mortgage crisis in '08. When the AI music stops, workers will pay the price.

The US gave nearly $22.7 billion in military aid to Israel in the last two years. It's time to focus on the needs of the American people.

Where will 250GW of electricity come from? We must regulate AI data center energy consumption, require emissions accountability, and protect residential ratepayers.

The DLC reconstituted as the "Majority Democrats" and their Majority Fund PAC is a clever way of laundering corporate money to centrist politicians who claim the mantle of "productive populism". en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Majorit...

Populism means saying you want to lower prescription drug prices, but when given the opportunity to pass a bill that would allow Medicare to negotiate lower drug prices, you use pharmaceutical industry talking points to undermine it. @waleedshahid.bsky.social @dkthomp.bsky.social

It is not surprising that Democrats who take money from the same billionaires as Trump would acquiesce to, and in some cases explicitly support, his inhumane mass deportation agenda.
These 75 Democrats joined Republicans to "express gratitude" to ICE agents and call for greater local and state collaboration with ICE.

This bill (now signed into law by Trump) eliminated IRS reporting requirements for decentralized finance (DeFi), enabling crypto-facilitated money laundering and tax evasion.

The IRS can track your Venmo transactions but DeFI platforms are allowed to traffic billions in unreported crypto trades.
76 House Dems joined Republicans in voting to repeal a Biden rule requiring cryptocurrency brokers to adhere to the same tax reporting rules as stock brokers.

A yes vote is a pro-fraud, pro-tax-evasion vote here.

In Massachusetts, Eversource and National grid have already received requests from proposed data centers for an additional 2GW of energy, which is equiv. to the annual electricity usage of 2.4m HHs (85% of all HHs in the state). www.joinact.org/news/an-econ...

ClosedAI is seeking a preemptive bailout of trillions of dollars from the federal government after over overleveraging on AI data center infrastructure. They cite competition from China as a national security concern: cdn.openai.com/pdf/21b88bb5...

ClosedAI started as a nonprofit philanthropy, and is now has a $500b valuation and is aggressively expanding its infrastructure with multi-billion dollar agreements with Nvidia, AWS, etc. Altman wants backing from the Federal government in case his bet fails.
