Mini London Marathon in 2013 saw Alex Yee finish 3rd in the U15 boys race.

Emile Cairess was 9th, Mahamed Mahamed 21st, Josh Kerr 47th.

The winner? Jamal Lewis, who went on to play football for Newcastle Utd & Northern Ireland 😙

Remember watching Gerald Phiri win English Schools 100m gold on his home track in Sheffield in 2003 wearing a bandana.

Went on to race in two Olympics for Zambia and sadly now busted for breaking anti-doping rules in the US.
