Even worse is when kids in other classrooms would brag how their teacher threw a pizza party and rolled in the T.V. for the day.

What I love about the live coverage of police pursuits here in L.A. are the news anchors hyping and selling the possibility it could end graphically tragic, and when it does they act utterly shocked and horrified.

I'm dealing with the bane of existence living in Southern California: A stupidly loud gas-powered leafblower. To be fair, those few leaves on the sidewalk have caused harrowing inconvenience.

The release of hostages and peace plan sounds promising. However, what exactly is the plan for the Palestinians? You have ravaged communities in Gaza, and a very pissed off population. It's won't take much for terrorist groups and other bad actors to exploit the population.

Given what has been said tonight by Fox News and other RWNJs, and The POTUS, I am trying to understand what just what @matthewjdowd.bsky.social said that prompted him to be fired from @msnbc.com. Saying "this is the environment we're in and a supporter might have fired a gun" isn't outrageous.

Fireworks going off here in my neighborhood. Not unusual for a L.A. neighborhood, but a bit unusual for them to go off during the 11 o'clock hour on a night that does not involve The Dodgers and Lakers winning a big game.
