Wenn ich Politiker-Bücher aus den 2010ern durchsehen, wird mit klar, internationale Politik wurde unter dem Eindruck der #Finanzkrise von 2008 halt fast ausschließlich aus wirtschaftlichspolitischer Perspektive gedacht. Das dürfte eine sehr gute Erklärung für den damaligen Umgang mit #Russland sein.

Das dürfte eine sehr gute Erklärung für den damaligen Umgang mit #Russland sein.

Putins Ziel sei das Ende der NATO, so BND-Präsident Kahl bei der @dgapev Im russ Verteidigungsministerium gehe man davon aus, dass die NATO am Bündnisfall zerbreche, zB. durch Aktionen in Litauen o. Spitzbergen. Putin wolle in einer NWO beherrschenden Einfluss in Europa ausüben.

I read a daily newspaper. Not too surprising, it helps me to round out my general knowledge & awareness. Otherwise, i would end up knowing a lot about my own field but very little about what else is going on... same reason why i contiue to read @foreignaffairs.com
This chart is incredible, and I think it shows two importantly different phenomena
1. The decline of daily newspaper reading is not a 21st century thing. It's a straight arrow down from the 1980s. (I'd blame cable TV.)
2. But the rise of "never" looks much more like an Internet phenomenon.

I read a daily newspaper. Not too surprising, it helps me to round out my general knowledge & awareness. Otherwise, i would end up knowing a lot about my own field but very little about what else is going on... same reason why i contiue to read @foreignaffairs.com
So here is a question: what to do against a country that is using #hybridwarfare against us? Is there a good policy paper? Is there anything a state/regional government can do (in addition to federal action)?
