So we all know that she used to sing a lullaby to Manuela when she was young, but I want to add a bit more to her character.

She probably used to be an school teacher before marrying Javier.

Hilda would take Manuela to the aquarium, greenhouses and jungle to chat about nature and stuff.

Hilda didn't like the lifestyle of being a druglord that Javier is, and wants him to leave it behind and be a good father to Manuela, but he refused to listen, leading Hilda herself to that Manuela doesn't end up following his path an her adulthood.
