I'm still recovering from my thyroidectomy from last week. Painwise I'm good, but I'm still hoarse from the intubation. I'm also experiencing some of the symptoms of an underfunctioning thyroid: feeling extra cold, low energy, dry skin and a loss of appetite.

FYI, googled something and Google now shows completly wrong AI slop in their picture search. Dreamstime seems to be the source. Really hate Enshittification.

We live in the stupidest timeline. I went to my thyroid specialist today, who is located in a hospital. I got asked about my mask & was told it was good that I was protecting myself, but the KN95 was "too much" & I should wear a surgical instead 🤦♀️.

It's hot. On one side of the apartment they are redoing the pavement directly in front of my building and on the other side my neighbours are playing music and smoking directly beneath my window. I can't win (or open any windows).
