Fascinating piece by NPR the other day on donating to democracy PACs, esp. the "sky if falling" pleas. Bottom line, ACTBlue is setting tighter rules for PACs that use their website. Many of the PACs work like Spotify, the candidates see pennies. Use ACTBlue for PACs or donate direct to candidate.

Let's be honest. There are some serious questions about the impact of President Trump's assault on NOAA, the National Weather Service, and FEMA, and whether it made these floods more deadly. We aren't doing our job if we aren't seeking answers to these questions.
