definitely the most annoying thing about this current era is the defeatism. so many people love to argue why there's no point like that's not a suicidal view. now is exactly the right time to be setting things into motion - you have nothing to lose, and people are looking for anything to grasp onto

The censorship of my film BREAK THE GAME is just the tip of the iceberg. Please read through this article to learn more about other troubling examples of PBS censoring films and supplemental content.

We talk a lot about social media radicalizing the population but it's been far more efficient at radicalizing public figures.
Online radicalisation of elites is a significant and yet poorly understood aspect of contemporary politics.
Holy shit, when Richard Hanania is not far enough right for you. Would love to hear what US Senators and prominent bloggers doing appearances with Andreessen think.

PBS also pulled the website for the film from PBS.org, at least until shortly after I'd reached out for comment and the film promptly reappeared on the schedule.

Just to clarify, does this sequence of events also happen to at least one film in every season for a variety of reasons?

The film's director, @janemwagner.bsky.social, told me that POV's executive producers were explicit about the fact that her film had lost its premiere date for political reasons-- a fact they subsequently confirmed by email.

anyway it's just yet another story of trans people being thrown under the bus by people who are down to cowardly capitulate to fascists rather than fight for us. our stories can't be told - we have to be political pawns to be thrown away
