Watching this #WJHC gold medal game has made one thing abundantly clear: 3-on-3 OTs need a “half-court rule”.

If the offensive team crosses the opposing team’s blue line, they should not be allowed to bring it back over the red line into their own end.

Same goes for the #NHL. Brutal to watch!

The #LPC has been bleeding support for over a year, yet in that time the #NDP has picked up roughly 0% of that loss.

So rumour is that the #IOC is looking at adding 3-on-3 hockey to the #2026WinterOlympics. My suggestion:

1) Make it a U-23 tournament, like Soccer in the Summer Olympics.

2) Allow #NHL players to participate.

#FrozenFrenzy is a good idea in theory. Just wish the #NHL would do it on a weekend in like Jan or Feb instead of a random Tuesday night though.

Could also do it when the NHL in Europe games are happening, so that the first game starts mid-morning.

Would also be a cool idea to do on Opening Night.

One of the subtle things that makes watching the #OlympicGames more enjoyable is the lack of advertising.

It’s refreshing to be able to watch a sporting event without the constant visual bombardment of ads crammed onto every possible surface. Just such a cleaner look.
