I was interviewed by the good comrades at @jacobinmag.bsky.social about Blowing Up Everything is Beautiful: Israel's Extermination of Gaza
As the Israeli assault in Gaza approaches the two-year mark, the extent of Israel’s crimes becomes clearer by the day.

So too does the complicity of other countries who have refused to uphold international law.

The experience of the past twenty months has taught Israel’s politicians and its officers impunity: there is no action they could order that goes too far, no strategy they can dream up that might be too extreme.

This “humanitarian” regime is not benevolent, nor the heartbroken sympathy of the world for a people on the brink of annihilation.

It is a new phase of that annihilation, an instrument of Israeli policy to dominate Gaza.

On the new aid plan, for @newrepublic.com
There Is Nothing “Humanitarian” About Israel’s New Gaza Aid Plan
Yes, Israel is letting some food into Gaza. But only so it can more efficiently brutalize its people.

The bare rancour in Israeli rhetoric since it unilaterally broke the January ceasefire will only seem freshly terrifying to anyone who hasn’t been paying attention. This is not a “mask off” moment. The mask was never on.

Why are the Democrats suddenly so mad?

Because Trump interfered with the imperatives of empire, and one of the core principles of the one-party consensus was broken: the duty to inflict massive violence at will, and to do so with your mouth shut.
This is what they're mad about?
