the president has destroyed the east wing of the white house without so much as a word of input from anyone else to build a royal ballroom paid for with bribes
NEW: After The Washington Post reported Monday on the demolition of the "East Wing facade," a new picture obtained by Law Dork that was taken on Tuesday shows that a substantial portion of the entirety of the East Wing has been demolished.

I hated like 98% of TROS but what do you MEAN we could’ve had a Soderbergh Ben Solo movie and Iger killed it?! Fricken Palpatine can come back but not Ben Solo?? 🫩

Certain celebrity deaths are harder to process than others because the person in question was so full of life and creativity and originality that you just assume it's never going to end.

Not only did I meet a whole circle of friends, many of which are kick ass artists whose work I now get to follow, I actually wouldn’t have met my husband if a friend from elementary school hadn’t posted on FB about doing the Disney College Program.
Has anything great happened in your life because of social media?

Jim Henson would've been 89 years old today. Commemorate his life and legacy by celebrating creativity, diversity, imagination, peace, and just plain silliness.

Walk with me a bit while I talk about Jim and his work--and leave your comments about what he means to you.

Right this way. /1

I thought it might’ve ended up a silly impulse purchase that I wouldn’t use, but tbh the Brick device has super helped my doomscrolling habit. It’s silly but having to walk to my kitchen to turn social media back on does in fact keep me from using it as much 🙃

You have GOT to be kidding me! 😤 The industry is struggling enough, this will only exacerbate the issues in LA and with *waves hands* everyone in charge right now I don’t have high hopes of it being blocked if it actually happens.

Spent the last few weeks binging The Summer I Turned Pretty to catch up for the finale and as a big big Sabrina (1954 AND 1995) fan I am lovinnnnnng all the homages, especially with the Paris stuff.

I still think Robo-Walt is weird, but it seems like this was maybe the way to keep CoP around longer - while getting a refresh to boot - so fine by me!

My dad’s favorite movie one summer was Summer Catch (2001, Freddie Prinz Jr & Jessica Biel) of all things, I think solely because TBS played it 1-2 times a day for 3 months straight 😅
Tell me you grew up after the era of basic cable without telling me you grew up after the era of basic cable.
How many of you out there can't name a single movie you're sure you've watched six times?

I've read a few novels a lot of times, but there aren't many movies I've seen more than 2 or 3 times.

The cruelty of this is, genuinely, staggering. This is a policy that saves virtually no money whatsoever whose success is measured in the number of children it kills.
Breaking: The Trevor Project received a stop-work order last night on its contract with the national 988 suicide prevention hotline. The Trump administration is eliminating the option for LGBTQ callers to the hotline to press 3 and connect with someone who specializes in LGBTQ mental health.

Seriously, MSNBC’s David Noriega and Jacob Soboroff were doing such great reporting from the main LA protest, from different spots, that they showed how law enforcement instigated trouble that just wasn’t happening.

They just couldn’t let the story be a day of millions peacefully protesting.
Remarkable.

MSNC: "I want to reiterate this has been 100% peaceful."

Seconds later, LA County sheriffs start firing on the crowd.

Yet again, "law enforcement" deliberately escalated.
