Hundreds of Starbucks baristas and labor organizers blockaded Starbucks' largest distribution center in York, Pennsylvania, halting distribution of syrups, coffee beans, and other supplies to the entire northeast.

This escalation is part of @sbworkersunited.org's ongoing strike.

Today on Trans Day of Remembrance we mourn the loss of all the trans people who have lost their lives due to bigotry and hatred. We honour our lost friends, our family, and our neighbours whose lives were cut short. We must unite as workers and reject hate in all aspects of our lives and society. 🖤🏳️‍⚧️

We have only our organization, fellow workers; they have capital; they have the power of the government, the slugging community of the capitalist class; they have the power of the state; they have the power of international capital — and we have but our power of organization.

If Starbucks baristas have to strike, we need to do the same — by not shopping at Starbucks.

When workers take action together with the support and solidarity of their community, we can take back power from the billionaires and CEOs.

It’s time to stand with workers, not billionaires. ✊🏽

In the latest episode of the class struggle the ruling class has decided to let millions of hard working Americans go hungry as the employing class continues to steal the labour of the working class. The only way forward is to unite as one and overthrow the capitalist system. Join us at iww.org.

"The working class and the employing class have nothing in common. There can be no peace so long as hunger and want
are found among millions of the working people and the few, who make up the employing class, have all the good things
of life..."

Starbucks workers in LA are being forced to work in areas impacted by the recent wildfires - even where the air quality is unsafe.

Management told partners that stores must open because “the community depends on us,” ignoring that some workers had to evacuate their own homes.

Due to the company's inability to bargain in good faith, @sbworkersunited.org have been forced to protest the company's unfair labor practice by going on STRIKE. They have asked for solidarity by flyering at non-union stores and by attending picket lines.
