@liamconlon.bsky.social if pay-per-mile charging is introduced for EVs it will harm the transition to EVs. This is bad not only for carbon targets but also local air quality. Fuel duty has not been raised for 14 years - it was even reduced in 2022. Please make sure EV pay-per-mile doesn't happen.

Drove past a mini roundabout that had been spray painted with a red cross. It was pathetic. If done well, St George's Cross mini roundabouts could look good. But what I saw was a couple of shaky, thin lines on a faded mini roundabout. No pride or respect shown at all. Just looked like shit graffiti.
