Absolutely key piece of life advice: never, ever be a dick to anyone from IT support.
In my first IT job none of the computers had hard-disks, everyone had their own share on the server.
If someone annoyed me I'd take away their read permissions for their directory, so it looked like all their files had gone.
After a day or two I'd "manage to recover" the now grateful idiot's files.

Work in IT, a department head was rude to my colleague, his entire department now has to change passwords weekly for "security reasons"
