One of the biggest holes that will be left behind by the absence of TikTok is a community for #chronicillness and disabilities.
I learned more from people on TikTok than I could ever hope to have gotten from DOCTORS.
This is a profound loss that will continue to negatively impact people 😞

I started my PhD in 2020. I was a full time student and teaching assistant for 4 semesters. I then transitioned to part time, changed departments, and taught high school again. Then I took a year off the degree. I’m back again to finish.
