How blessed we are that we got two pretty fucking great (well, I thought so) adaptations of Bachmanian societal dystopia this year.

BTW, Edgar Wright's "The Running Man" was pretty great, that makes 2/2 Richard Bachman adaptations this year and I love that.

Circumstances were shifted and a little more artistic license was applied for the sake of the cinematic medium, but the result remained true to arguably Constantine's greatest gambit, especially this moment.
