ITQB NOVA researcher James Yates is part of one of 44 projects selected in the EIC Pathfinder call to support visionary science and disruptive innovation. 💡

Funded with €3M, the RamanProSeq project will develop a technology to sequence proteins with >99.9% accuracy.

ITQB NOVA researchers revealed a way to distinguish between Shewanella species, bacteria emerging as pathogens worldwide. 🦠

The research team identified a gene unique to Shewanella seohaensis, that can serve as a tool to avoid misidentifications in research & diagnostics.
