Tackling Food Surplus at the Farm Gate

Our IOMS colleague, Dr Kyle Alves, played a key role in a project, funded by a £1.5m DEFRA grant, which is set to open in 2026 at the South Devon Food Hub near Totnes.
Dr. Alves will design the operational activities to process food received by the facility.
