Amen!
I don't like to hurt people's feelings, yuck people's yums, or speak out against any sort of anti-Trump movement because we're all kind of scared, right? I get where people are coming from. But Biden 2020 should have proved things can't just go back to normal, they actually need to completely change
Today is a pretty good reminder of why No Kings and such is so off-putting to me:

it's because liberals have learned so little, and so many of them think this is simply a path "back to normal." and any attempt at showing them the deep rot of their political beliefs ends in "fuck you commie"

Should the economy be regulated by a democratic society to ensure that it creates opportunity and benefit for everyone? Or should it be a plaything for approximately a dozen of the world's most odious assholes? Who knows

I swear 2025 has been an all time best year for movies. Like there have been 4 movies this year that are in my possible favorites of all time, and that is remarkable.

Can't believe the hoops I had to jump through to get my COVID vaccine today. This is crazy!

What the fuck is going on at Union Station? They've put barricades up across all the entrances and stationed national guard and police to stand in front of them. This is beyond absurd. The worst threat anyone in that station experiences are the pigeons that mistakenly fly in and get trapped there.

I never go to the Inner Harbor these days because it's too touristy, but walking around and seeing the water is actually pretty nice. Enjoy it while you can, I guess. It'll definitely be missed.

There's a guy here at jury duty who didn't bring anything with him to do, and he's just sitting and staring creepily instead.

My first day off in 3 weeks, so I'm going to see Eddington this afternoon, and I am currently the only person who has bought a ticket for the movie for the entire DAY 😳

I don't know how many times I will have to say this, but if you say "forward slash" on your podcast ad, it's like saying "land sea lions". It makes you sound like an idiot.

Some of you know that for the last 13 years, I've been doing the audio for Around the Horn on ESPN. And now... it's over. Such an incredibly sad day for all of us here and for all the people who loved and supported the show for so long.

You have to appreciate that Mark Ruffalo post-Marvel has moved exclusively into playing characters that are completely and utterly vile pieces of shit.

More people need to start paying attention and realize this.
if we'd had an actual opposition party since the reagan administration none of this would have ever happened. democrats allowed this. democrats actively helped bring it about. democrats purposely thwarted serious attempts to stop it.

Call me naive, but I never expected to see this level of cruelty displayed so openly and so brazenly in a place where I lived.

Was really surprised by just how good A Quiet Place: Day One is. Though once I looked up who co-wrote and directed it, I really shouldn't have been.

Congratulations Section 31. I didn't think there could possibly be worse Star Trek than Picard or the Kelvin stuff, but you have far surpassed them both.

I really don't understand the hate for Joker Folie à Deux. I thought it was a nuanced and beautiful movie that I was thoroughly impressed by.

How did Ryan Reynolds go from personally shepherding Deadpool into being a massive success to portraying the same character in one of the worst movies ever made within the span of 8 years?
