There is not enough Stegosaurus representation. Show me your Stegs.
I wish this for a friend I’ll never get to meet.

Watched Jurassic World Rebirth tonight. It’s a decent story that delivers what you expect from a dinosaur movie. Good popcorn fare.

Nods to the original in a couple of places, which is the sort of thing I like in a 30-year old franchise.

I saw the big chart of Dramatica nested quads and thought “that’s just crying out for a zoomable treemap!” so I made one to help me navigate it.

Procrastinating from #writing by being a data nerd. 🤓

Cassian Andor vs the Empire. How does it end?
This picture says everything about the state of our nation right now, peaceful clergy being arrested and forced face-down on the pavement.

I am on my way home to Toronto and the aurorae are absolutely phenomenal.

If you are anywhere in the northern half of the continent, get outside and look up! Or better still, put your camera on a 10 second exposure and point it up.

Unexpected! Just the barest suggestion of a haze to the naked eye, but bright in the camera.

@durbin.senate.gov Any promise of a vote is an illusion, Senator. Do not be cowed by these unrepentant bullies.

The people need you to stand your ground. Caving will only make things worse.
@durbin.senate.gov No one is answering the phones in your office.

Any deal that doesn’t have some sort of guarantees for ACA subsidies, or guarantees period beyond “we swear, this time we’ll play ball” isn’t a deal.

It’s Lucy, holding the football, and you’re Charlie Brown.

No quarter, Senator.

The existence of a trillionaire is a failure of society.

To remain a billionaire is immoral.

“If Republicans continue to do nothing, will Democrats cave and allow them to do whatever they want?”

Terrible question, excellent rebuttal.
I love how Rep. Joe Neguse reframed this question.

Today I parked in a spot that still had 55 minutes left on the meter, so I put money in the meter for the car in front, which only had 4.

Pay it forward. You’ll like it.

I don’t know why Passengers (2016) didn’t succeed when it was released. It’s not a bad movie at all. I enjoyed it.
