When it comes to the Doctors strike, it's difficult to know who to believe. On the one hand you have people who spend their lives saving people from dying and on the other hand you have a Government who lie about absolutely everything. It's a coin toss.

Forced into doing the right thing again!
The Home Office has conceded a judicial review where a person detained in an IRC lacked capacity to make decisions in his asylum matter and who was detained for 18 months as a result. The Home Office has also agreed to review the relevant Detention Services Order

Home Office resettlement plans are great if you are from that area and you are lucky enough to get a place. Everyone else, you're on your own and if you come by boat you're not even allowed to ask for protection. Cameroonian gays, Eritrean draft evaders, Iranian opposition members or Christians,

Every single journalist who has stood up and asked whether this will work is an accomplice in this collapse into full, proud, fascism and racism. Not ONE has asked whether any of this is right at all. Not ONE notes the essence of this policy is antithetical to the furtherance of the human race.

A treaty with Rwanda isn't worth the paper it is printed on. It doesn't even begin to resolve the issues which the Supreme Court raised in its ruling that the policy was unlawful, and doesn't change how we should be investing in our own asylum system.

The Rwanda policy no longer has any connection with legal and policy reality.

Even if implemented it will make no difference.

It cannot be made lawful in a rush, let alone in an emergency.

The money being thrown at it, better spent on UK asylum system.

It is now a totem.
