It's always good to know who you're dealing with...
A lot of people have been sharing links to a series of articles I wrote 16 years ago about Premier Danielle Smith’s disastrous time on the Calgary Board of Education in the late 1990s.

Latest dogshit offer is in from the UCP for the teachers. The new "enhanced" offer that the teachers are voting on is the same as the last offer. The difference is that the UCP plans on using tax money to hammer teachers in the media for 5 days in the mean time.

Watching a fat, white boomer with an "Alberta Sovereignty" t-shirt walk into a community recreation facility every day that was built with ndp city tax dollars using badminton racquets paid for by leftists is the ultimate statement of Alberta.

UCP - not just passively corrupt.
Annual long term care facility re-inspections stopped during covid lockdowns and still hadn't resumed by time I was ousted in summer 2024. We even had facilities running without insurance.

Those of us trying to stop the #CorruptUCP negligence were ousted (including ADMs and Exec. Directors). #ableg

If this is the case, she definitely wouldn't survive a leadership review without supporting separatism.

Universally true no matter what country you are in.
The threat to our society is not from asylum seekers in small boats. It’s from politicians and media cynically whipping up fear and prejudice, labelling them all as criminals, inciting hatred against people for where and what they’ve fled from.
It must stop. For all our sakes. It’s deeply sinister.

And if no one acts on this, it shows that the US was never a democracy in the first place.

Never underestimate the impact of stupidity...
Stupidity, warned Carlo Cipolla, wields more power than any organized gang or industrial military complex and seems to be a constant force in history.

In other words, the non-stupid should never underestimate the role of stupidity in world events, writes Andrew Nikiforuk for the Weekender.

Alberta: You should know…

Dr. Parks, past president of AMA posted this.

He says he’s hearing these stories every day.

We are no longer dying just on surgery wait lists (that UCP quit tracking)

We are now dying on Emerg wait list…alone. Alberta.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if Canada opens up the conversation about modifying the Constitution, all it would take is for 7 provinces representing 50 percent of the population to make the energy sector resource development a national responsibility and take it away from Danielle Smith et al

Alberta: Did you know that…

AB Public Ed is the lowest funded in the whole country?

In 2022, the UCP funded Charter Schools at $42.3M of your taxpayer $ (no other province funds Charters).

By 2024, that amount had risen to $408M, an increase of 844%.
