The end of a long vacation is always so raw. I'm healed. I'm exhausted. I've rediscovered my joy for life. Every part of me hurts. I feel so much peace. I also want my bed and my nerves feel frayed. I've laughed and explored and experienced so much. I want routine and normalcy again.

I've been getting updates on Fenris every few days while I've been on vacation and today's is cracking me up. They were trying so hard to get him to play with bubbles and he was NOT having it.

I gave my copy of 2024 D&D and several of my dice sets to my 10-year-old nephew who really wants to play D&D. My brother-in-law texted that he stayed up until 11 PM reading the Monster Manual and is so excited. My HEART. 🥹🥹🥹

me: woe, it sucks that I've developed flight anxiety, but it makes sense. we flew a lot less during covid. Chris holds my hand during turbulence, so I can get through this, even though I feel really awful.

I think I need to stop picking United flights even if they're half the price of the other flights. This is the second time IN A ROW that they've delayed/canceled my flight due to plane malfunctions.
