This year has been a shit show with my health, with a diagnosis of something I'd never even heard of. Sarcoidosis has literally ravaged my body while challenging me mentally every step of the way.
I still choose to be grateful for what I have and how far I've come.

My dad makes Ukrainian sour cabbage rolls, and they're a favorite of many friends and extended family.
He spends many hours making pan after pan, and delivers them between now and Christmas so people can have them with their holiday dinner.

Outing to the hospital update- I'm SO happy to have my new chair (it's lighter, smoother, just better!) but they are NOT made for snow! 😂

Since my nerve damage happened and I'm unable to walk, I've been using loaner wheelchairs from our health unit/physio dept.
Today, I get my chair, specified to me. A looooot of mixed feelings about this, but it's great I'll finally have my own.

The fence for the dogs was down today with some snow being cleared.
Them while it's down: Whining at the door steady "How could you DO this to us, how dare you deprive us of the outside!"
Them, now it's back up: "We're not going out there, you've mistaken us for dogs who ENJOY the outside."

I post a lot about my battle with sarcoidosis. I just started what's considered my neuro team's 4th choice of immunosuppressant.
My case is severe and considered rare, with heart (I have a pacemaker) and nerve damage to where I can't walk. AB govt don't think I "qualify" for a more studied drug.
