Likely to be posts about film, old TV programme, sports and maybe food and Lego.
Alan Carr is a dreadful game show host. No charm, empathy or warmth. Might as well have had Alexa doing it

Film idea no. 543. Inspired by watching Strictly Come Dancing, a group of locals decide to advertise for a teacher to learn to dance and put on a show to raise funds and save their community centre. Think very British - The Full Monty etc

Charity shop haul today is £1 for 3 DVDs. Zulu, The Untouchables and Pulp Fiction. The Untouchables (one of my all time favourite films) comes with a double sided poster too. Don't get one of those on streaming

@cameronyardejnr.bsky.social just as I was saying. Bring this nonsense back to fill 30 minutes midweek on telly.
Give Us A Clue (8th November 1983). It's Tutti Fruitti for Rosalind Ayres.

BBC Sports coverage of the #Ashes rugby league verges on unwatchable at points and is unbelievably irritating. Stop cutting to shots of the crowd or coaches while the ball is in play #EngvAus

Today's film I watched so you don't have to is The 13th Warrior. A vague retelling of Beowulf meaning a dozen Norse fighters and the titular hero, an Arab, go to a village and fight off hordes of cannibals who think they are bears. Nothing great but if you are in to this type of film it's fun

Aljaž Škorjanec becoming an excellent and unexpected comedy straight man to La Voix / Chris Dennis is one of my highlights of this year's #Strictly

Well done Australia - took the chances you got. Game was there for England but no thrust at all in attack especially in opposition 20 when they had the upper hand. #EngVAus #Ashes

#Ashes rugby league second test far more of a contest than last week. England had the best of the first half and really dominated the middle of the field. They can't afford any mistakes in the next 40 and need to be ruthless in attack #EngvAus

Just noticed that Sean Connery died 5 years ago to the day. Think I shall watch my three favourite films of his this weekend - and not a Bond film in sight

Doctor Who needs a complete reset. BBC can't afford to cancel it. It doesn't need a "superfan" to be show runner. It needs as actual competent professional TV programme maker.

I think it's appalling that Britain's most enduringly popular family don't pay income tax or VAT, but it's hard to deny how much joy they bring to the general public. That chandelier gag alone...

It's entirely pointless people spending money running a website if the article is hidden behind endless ads and pop ups. This is today's effort from Love Rugby League. Absolutely embarrassing effort

Craig is right on #Strictly Energy and enthusiasm is not enough for Ellie. She needs to show proper technique. If a contestant who has had to do a dance with proper technique, and harshly criticised for it, has to go then I don't think it's on
