Whether it's a DH project, a personal site, or even gov site that is going offline, all you need is a WACZ file created with any of our tools (Browsertrix.com, ArchiveWeb.page) and you can host a web archive-powered mirror of your own, for free!

Love this new initiative by @webrecorder.net: GovArchive.us, mirroring dynamic sites as a static web archive, while preserving the previous URL structure. Could be a really compelling options for digital humanities projects, too.

Would it be interesting to add some sort of automated way to opt-in to web archiving outbound links posted on atproto, and then extending the appview to view embedded archives (and extending the schema to WACZ files)? Maybe even a way to search for what's been archived so far?
