I went grocery shopping today. Bananas - Guatemala. Red Wine Vinegar - Italy. Oilve Oil - Spain. Granola - Germany. Lentils - Canada. Ginger - China. Sunflower seeds - Bulgaria. Grapes - Chile. Vanilla - Madagascar.
All this is going to cost more thanks to the felon's tariffs.

I can't find any in-network providers for gender affirming care for my adult kiddo. It's almost like insurance companies don't want them to get care. So, out-of-network it is.
And I don't understand why a primary care physician can't just order labs and prescribe meds.

Chickies spent a couple of hours in their chicken run this afternoon while I worked in the garden. They loved it. I'll start taking them out there for a couple of hours each day. I've also purchased them a bigger pen for the house until they can go out full time.

Guys, I'm a new chicken mama. Their covered run is finished and I have their automatic door to put in their coop. The little guys will be in the house for the next few weeks. We're excited to watch them grow. These will be much loved pets and live out their natural lives here.

The boys are so excited to be in a basic double after being in a prevue cage for a couple of days during introductions. All is going well and we'll add more things and open other sections if they all continue to get along.

Intro day. Boys (5 adults and 9 babies). Girls (8 adults and 5 babies). So far, so good. Taking the opportunity for a big clean and scrubbing cages. Both groups will have a quad critter nation.
