The NGO Working Group to End Homelessness (WGEH) continues to advocate for #WorldHomelessDay to be adopted as an official United Nations observance day. International observances significantly increase awareness of major societal issues and encourage action towards solutions across regions.
Today, October 10th is recognized as World Homeless Day — a day that people with lived experience of homelessness, practitioners, academics, policymakers, and other experts collectively advocate for the establishment of policies, programs, partnerships and resources to effectively end #homelessness.
