Bear Canyon Trail in Guadalupe Mountains National Park, TX. No bears spotted, but I saw some deer at the end of the trail 🦌 and came across this odd plant 🌱. Google tells me it's American cancer-root.

Barker Dam in Joshua Tree National Park in California is a fascinating spot. Although there was no water during my visit, the green grass and fresh plants hinted at recent water. Quite a striking contrast in the middle of the desert. 🌵💚
